Our work / The thinking behind the screen

Real businesses.
Considered work.

Better websites start with better questions. Here’s how we turn what makes a business valuable into something people can see, understand and use.

Selected work and review previews.
Websites, new directions and digital systems.

Human judgement. AI-assisted execution.

The tools help us make.
The thinking makes it yours.

We start by researching the industry, relevant reviews and testimonials, and strong websites in New Zealand, Australia and further afield where useful. We look for what makes people search, what worries them and what gives them confidence. Client conversations and available customer interviews add context. Those findings guide the message, look and feel and usability, including whether a mobile or desktop journey matters most. AI helps us explore, draft and build; people make and check the decisions.

TNS Builders

Make word-of-mouth trust visible.

Challenge

TNS was building its first website around a reputation earned through referrals. Renovation customers worried about uncertain costs, hidden problems in older houses, choosing the wrong builder and having unfamiliar people working in their home.

Approach

Tony’s discovery conversation and the customer-interview discussion put practical renovation guidance first: how hidden issues are explained, who coordinates the trades, and what respectful, tidy work looks like. Scannable headings, customer quotes and service-specific routes give a referred homeowner useful reassurance.

What changed

The review website makes Tony’s judgement, communication and renovation process easier to inspect before a conversation. It is a first website, with domain access and launch still pending, rather than a redesign with claimed performance gains.

Tuffnell Drainage

Making specialist capability clear.

Owner and customer interviews shaped a coherent story for commercial and civil drainage, Tunnelvision CCTV and QA, and TuffBlast maintenance. AI assisted positioning, homepage copy and visual exploration, with implementation in Duda.

Less disconnected.
More joined up.

Sometimes the website is only the front door. The useful work connects what people see with what the organiser needs to do next.

Beyond a website.
A membership platform.

A membership portal with club administration and rider licensing for New Zealand is being developed alongside the public website. Stakeholder feedback and testing inform membership, clubs and road, track and cyclocross pathways.

In development. The image shows the public website, with membership and licence workflows still being tested.
